Day 1: – Tashkent (Free day)
10:50 Arrival to Tashkent. AFROSIAB TRAVEL driver will meet you at the Tashkent International Airport and take you to the hotel. Check-in. free time. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: – Taschkent-Samarkand (Uzbekistan)
Breakfast at the hotel. 07:00 transfer to the station. 07:30 Transfer by high-speed train “Afrosiab” to Samarkand. 09:45 Arrival in Samarkand. Visit to Gur Emir Mausoleum, Registan square, Bibi Khanum mosque, and Siab bazaar. 13:00 Luxurious pilaf for lunch will be organized by AFROSIAB
TRAVEL. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: – Samarkand (Uzbekistan)
Breakfast at the hotel. 08:00 Breakfast in the hotel. Today you will visit Khazrat Khizr Mosque, the Mausoleum of the first President of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, Shakhi Zinda Necropolis, Ulughbek Observatory, the Mausoleum of Saint Daniel and Paper Mill “Meros” in Konigil Village. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4:- Samarkand-Bukhara (Uzbekistan)
Breakfast in the hotel. Around 09:00 a.m. transfer to the train station.
Continue by train from Afrosiab to Bukhara. Start the city tour in Bukhara. Visit Lyabi Khauz Complex, Mgoki Attori Mosque, Chor Minor Madrasah, Trade Domes, Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque and Miri Arabic Madrasah, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan Madrasahs,
the Ark Fortress, the Bolo Khauz Mosque, the Chashma Ayub Mosque and the Ismail-Samani Mausoleum. AFOSIAB TRAVEL organizes dinner at Madrasah Restaurant Nodir Devonbegi where you can enjoy the traditional dance show. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5:- Bukhara-Taschkent (Uzbekistan)
08:00 Breakfast at the hotel. 09:00 Sightseeing in the countryside. Visit the summer residence of Bukhara’s last Emir – Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa, the Bakhouddin Naqshbandi Mausoleum, and the Chor Bakr Necropolis. 14:30. Transfer to the train station. 15:51 Transfer by high-speed train “Afrosiyob” to Tashkent. 19:40 Arrival in Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel. Check in. Free time. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6:- Tashkent (Uzbekistan)
8:00 am Breakfast at the hotel. 09:30 Start your journey in Tashkent. Start sightseeing in the old town of Tashkent. Visit Khast Imam – a cult architectural complex and religious center of Tashkent where the world-famous Uthman Quran has been preserved. Khast Imam Complex consists of Barak Khan Madrasah, Tillya Sheikh Mosque, Muyi Muborak Madrasah, Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum, New Khazrati Imam Mosque and the Muftiate Building.Drive to Chorsu Bazaar. After visiting the bazaar, visit the Monument of Valor, Amir Temur Square, Alisher Navoi Bolshoi Theater, Memorial Complex for Victims of Repression, and Independence Square. Evening meal.
Day 7:- Tashkent
Morning departure to Chimgon (Chimgan) Mountains (80 km, ~2 hrs). The road you drive along leads through countless Uzbek villages, along gardens and rivers. Upon arrival, visit the modern ski resort Amirsoy. Ascent by cable car to the top of Kumbel (2400m) with an excellent view of the surrounding mountains and Chimgan.
Then transfer to the Chimgan campsite where you can choose to take the cable car to the Chimgan viewing platform or horseback ride along the gorge at the foot of the mountain. Continue to the shore of Charvak Dam surrounded by green mountain slopes. With numerous resorts, beaches, and summer camps for children, Lake Charvak is a favorite place for locals and foreigners alike to enjoy summer days away from the city. Drive down the serpentine road to have lunch at a local restaurant. Return to Tashkent after lunch. Return to the hotel.
Day 8:- Taschkent-Kokand—Rischtan-Fergana
(Drive by sedan. Tashkent – Kokand approx. 240 km./ approx. 4.5 hours over the mountain pass325 km./ approx. 6 hours, Kokand – Rishtan approx. 42 km./ approx. 30 min, Rishtan – Fergana approx. 55 km./approx. 1 hour) Kokand is located about 240 kilometers southeast of Tashkent in the largest and most densely populated oasis in Central Asia – in the Fergana Valley.
Mountain landscapes and numerous fruit and vegetable plantations, rows of mulberry trees await you in the Fergana Valley. In the first half of the 19th century, Kokand was an important trading center and, with more than 300 mosques, the religious center of the Fergana Valley. Today it is the main traffic junction of this region.
Visit the Khudajar Khan Palace of Kokand. The building is one of the last large buildings of Islamic architecture in Central Asia of the 19th century. A little further you reachth e largest mosque of Kokand, the Juma Mosque. Afterwards, drive to Rishtan. Rishtan has been famous for its ceramics for several centuries.
You will visit one of the most famous pottery workshops of a hereditary master. Characteristic of the arts and crafts made in Rishtan is the crockery with geometric arabesques, plant motifs, and depictions of animals and people. In the workshop, you will learn details about the production and decoration of the pottery from the usto (master). (2 nights in Fergana at Hotel Asia Fergana)
9 day: – Fergana-Taschkent
Drive to Tashkent by train from Margilan (the train journey takes about 5 hours). Departure to Tashkent, Margilan (Fergana Valley) – 09:22 arrive in Tashkent at 14:48. AFOSIAB TRAVEL driver will pick you up at Tashkent railway station and transfer you to the hotel in Tashkent.
10 day: – Fergana-Taschkent 8:00 am Breakfast at the hotel. 11:30 Transfer to the airport.
